Distance from the vehicle to the camera above is about 200 feet [~60 meters], and photo was taken about 6 to 7 degrees off-axis. Car was traveling about 10 to 15 mph when photo was taken. This product is amazingly effective, conspicuity wise, to be environmentally 'green' also About 4 amps is the current consumption of DRL system shown above, versus about 12 amps to run this vehicle's regular headlights during the day. Some headlight systems draw up to 16 amps.

You could run 3 pairs of Turn signal bulbs as DRLs
to get close to the energy consumed by many regular headlight systems that are run full-on
during the day
Swap 2 amp each Turn signal bulbs for 0.2 amp each AMBER LED bulbs, and overall system energy consumption drops to less than 1/12th of average full-on daytime headlight consumption.
