Complete installation kit is included with each module. All system modules measure approx. 4.4"l x 3.2"w x 2"h. Automatic operation of all PlanetSafe and SafetyMax DRL products ensures that the bulbs utilized are energized when the vehicle is running, and turn off automatically 1) when the vehicle's parking lights/headlights are activated, and 2) when the ignition switch is turned off. PlanetSafe products insure signaling/hazard lights always operate correctly (with respect to signaling) in all conditions and at all times, day or night, with ignition key on or off. Mode switchover from flasher-off to DRL-on mode occurs within 50 to 75/100ths of a second. SafetyMax products insure regular low beam headlights, or driving/fog lights always operate correctly in their normal operating modes, pursuant to their previous factory nighttime/daytime/key-on/key-off conditions [check your vehicle's owners manual for factory-normal driving light/fog light/headlight operations]. All products switch out of DRL mode automatically when any factory equipped Auto Headlamp systems engage on overcast days or at twilight. PlanetSafe and SafetyMax DRL products are equipped with Automatic Safety Reconnect (ASR). This is a failsafe, zero-system-energy state where all factory bulbs are connected to all factory wiring automatically and instantaneously anytime the system has either a deliberate or accidental power loss, including a blown device fuse, system power-off, or ignition key switch-off event. Electrical Isolation Circuitry (EIC) isolates right and left bulbs independently from each other, and isolates all DRL voltages from other interrelated bulbs, switches, relays, and any onboard computer/CAN systems.
Note: PlanetSafe and SafetyMax DRL products are to be installed inside the vehicle's passenger compartment (never under the hood) to protect the device electronics from environmental damage.
