'Swap' DRL Systems that change your Factory DRL-equipped Vehicle's Appearance for a Customized Look and Increased Daytime Safety

Swap your factory White DRLs to AMBER, and increase your vehicle's overall daytime safety, as PROVEN by a GM/SAE DRL effectiveness study. (link)   No other DRL type or color increases a car's daytime conspicuity better during daytime hours than AMBER.

WHITE-TO-AMBER DRL 'Swap' systems, with OEM DRLs as backup. In Many Cases, the Swap product actually reduces your DRL equipped car's Carbon Footprint!

2004 VW Golf with Factory White Low Beam Headlight DRLs; Energy Consumption here is around 7 amps. (Note: Low Beams are pointed at the ground 30 meters out)

2004 Golf DRLs 'Swapped' over to AMBER Turn Signal DRLs; Energy Consumption here is reduced to about 4 amps. (Note: Turn Signals are pointed at the eye level of cars across the intersection)

With QuadControl 'Swap' circuitry functioning, turning off our Aftermarket DRLs turns your Factory White DRLs back on.

Your OEM DRLs are held in reserve, to reactivate at a moments notice, like redundant safety systems on modern commercial aircraft.

When our DRL product is manually switched 'Off' in valet mode (like with our LX-based products), your factory DRLs turn back 'On' (provided the parking lights or headlights are still 'Off'.)

Factory DRLs also return if and when the "Swap" DRL module ever experiences a loss of power or if a blown module fuse event were ever to occur.

With our system, your Factory White DRLs act as backups to the Amber DRLs, should our system be manually turned off, or ever somehow blow a DRL module fuse

Calling all Tuners and Car Customizers

The DRL 'Swap' system, with OEM white light DRLs employed as backup DRLs, can perform a number of DRL 'swap' situations, which include:

1)  Low Beam-to-Turn Signal DRLs (for a custom look, plus fuel savings and a reduction of emissions)

2)  Low Beam-to-Fog light DRLs (for a custom look, and moving to a dedicated DRL bulb)

3)  High beam-to-low beam DRLs (for glare reduction)

4)  High beam-to-Driving/Fog light DRLs (for glare reduction)

5)  Dedicated-bulb DRLs-to-Turn signal DRLs (increased conspicuity; safety)

6)  High beam-to-Turn signal (glare reducer & increased conspicuity)

and so on.

(Note: Our kits CAN NOT not be used to swap to HIGH BEAMS. It has been ruled
by NHTSA that it is illegal to use high beams full strength as DRLs, because of glare.)

One customer recently asked:

"So, I have a 2008 GM  vehicle that previously came with Amber DRLs, but last year GM moved the DRLs to the low beam headlights at 90% power on this model.

Will your 'swap DRLs' kit work to change the car back to Amber DRLs?"

The answer is YES. The 'Swap' product will increase the vehicle's daytime safety, plus simultaneously decrease the vehicle's fuel consumption and emissions due to the use of lower current-consuming bulbs as DRLs.

This product is ideal to add aftermarket low beam HID headlights.

It will turn off the potentially HID ballast-damaging reduced power low beam DRL voltages, and simultaneously power Turn Signals or Fog Lights as DRLs

Have you had to lose your DRLs to gain HIDs? Now, you can have both, and do-it-yourself.
