The PlanetSafe DRL-2005-SE Turn Signal Daytime Running Light / Fog Light conversion system consists of all features included in the EX product, plus a lighted push button controlling off-road /emergency/fog light night functioning.
This lighting innovation offers front turn signal fog lighting, that is one-time push button controllable by the operator when the parking lights are on, yet still resets automatically as a DRL module when the lights are turned off and then back on. In heavy rain, fog, or snow, this lighting makes a vehicle safer by making the vehicle more conspicuous in these emergency conditions. Any night functioning (off-road, emergency, or fog/bad weather) latches on as a one time event via the parking light-back lit push button, and remains on until it is reset to off when the vehicle's high beams are turned on and back off or are flashed [headlight augmentation must be connected upon installation], when the parking lights are deactivated, or when the main power switch is deactivated.
